I'm selling my two-dvd HVX Bootcamp: Volume 1 - Camera Ops that I received when I attended training in Burbank. $40 shipped in the US.
 
The video goes systematically through the HVX200 menus and settings, along with the external buttons. It also covers variable framerates, film camera-style shutter settings, and P2 media clip operations. There might be some things that would be helpful, but the DVD specifically covers the HVX200 and not the HPX170. Does Barry Green have a book or dvd out on the HPX170? If so, I'd get that for sure.

As I mentioned for the previous post, this set is the HVX200 bootcamp. It focuses specifically on the HVX200 not the HPX170. Some items may be similar between the two cameras but I'm not sure. I don't want you to buy the wrong product. But if you do want this HVX Bootcamp set, just let me know and I'll PM you with details.
 
Thanks a bunch, I have received the DVD set quick, and in great condition. Very helpful tutorial even for HPX170.

Great! I'm so glad it is helpful to you. The second dvd has a ton of helpful information that I believe is helpful to any camera operator.
