HVX-Bootcamp in Munic?

How about a HVX-Bootcamp in Munic? Munic is one of the movie industry centers in the world and central enough for most continental Europeans. A good place would be the Bavaria Studios. They even offer a VIP event service. So we could have the bootcamp on the set of Petersens "Enemy Mine". :)

I know, Berlin is the hype town, but remember, "The Great Escape" was shot in Munic, not Berlin. :)
 
I guess it will be difficult to bring these guys to Europe without substantial Panasonic sponsoring (like for the bootcamps in Australia/New Zealand).

But I would be more than interested.

Well, Berlin has two filmschools (dffb/hff potsdam), unfortunately the highest amount of freelance cameraman, by far the most movies produced per year and the Babelsberg Filmstudios - and is A LOT cheaper than munich...
BUT for people from southern european countries coming by car, Munich would be the nearest german "filmtown"...
Just remember that flying to/from berlin has become VERY cheap - three airports and all of the budget airlines are there...
If there´ll be Bootcamps in Europe, I´d do at least 2.
One in Amsterdam at IBC, another anywhere in Germany.
As long as you get at least some recommendation from Pana Europe this will be a sure bet...

PS I still don´t know how much the camp will cost... Anyone?
 
Hold the bootcamp in Kassel. It´s the geographic center of Germany and very goo connected by highways (Autobahn:)) everybody can get there from every part of the country by car within three or four hours.
 
Hey, i go for Berlin(as its the city where i live..) but more for the reasons spartakus had, its real cheap here, a great city, and not only in the center of germany, but of europe, if you check how cheap you can get here from all over europe...!

And try to pay a room in munich...pfff..there is an appartment for 4 people close to me, you pay 75Euro for 4 perons by night..Berlin is the best place to stay...!

Would be volunteer to help with some organisation things over here Barry/Jarred!
