HVX BootCamp DVD Vol. 1 is AVAILABLE!

Yeah. It's great ain't it? Really helps shorten that learning curve. Since I watched the DVD, I have been producing cleaner images, even in more natural light.

In the early on, I was getting "noisy" images in stuff that I attempted to light. Over the last several weeks, (with better understanding of settings) I have been able to get images in natural light with less noise than my "lit" scenes. I even managed to shoot some Christmas stuff that was lit only by two regular table lamps in the room (available light) and it was near noise free, crisp and clean, and pretty dang vibrant considering the setting.

Still having some problems with the red's though.

a bit off topic, but I`m looking for something like this for a Canon XL2 and XL H1. Do you happen to make other VDD`s like this for other brands? Or know anyone who does? Thanks
 
We currently do not; not sure if there's anything else out there. Seems to me I recall an XL2 disc somewhere. You might scan Amazon.
 
I bought the HVX Boot Camp DVD today 1-12-07 from B&H in New York and I can't believe how great the DVD's are. It was well worth the $60.00 I'm still watching the DVD as I type. Everyone of my question were answered after I watched both DVDs. If you already own, or are planing on getting the Panasonic AG-HVX200/202 this DVD is a must to have on your shelf. Take my word for it. The funny thing is that I don't even own the HVX200 yet. I'm just doing research on the HVX200 before I buy it. After buying this DVD I'm sold. Great job Barry Green and crew. I ordered the dvd from B&H about a month ago, and I have found it very helpful. I find myself going back and watching some segments over again to reinforce the subject. I'm looking forward to getting the book as well (which should come soommmmmetime soon with my P2 rebate).

Now as a big bonus, I've discovered this site. I'm sure I'll be a frequent visitor from here on out.

I noticed you have a 3d software forum and I have a good amount of experience in this area and will be more than willing to contribute my two cents worth (whether you want me to or not :)).

Besides, visual demonstrations always add meaning to whatever is being stated.

Yes, I am one of those interested in a DVX Bootcamp Dvd. I hope one is in the works.
 
just curious, is there a dvd set for the dvx boot camp? sorry, i'm old school. probably won't have my hvx for at least a year. :(

that would be cool. i'd buy it. i already have the hvx dvd and still watch it for references. i've watched it a bunch of times now and feel comfortable with the camera.
