Hvx Bike Ride Documentary

Hey thanks.

Most of the shots were just hand held. I practiced riding with no hands and got it so I could ride and film at the same time. The time lapses however were just my camera bungee tied to the back rack of my bike.

I did the Seattle-Portland ride in 1997 and this brought back some of those memories. Except in that ride we were rained on both days and I found out what it was like to "bonk".

Also, I wasn't shooting and riding. Big difference there! It was hard enough covering a hundred miles a day without having to handle a video camera and figure out how to cover the event.

Nice work. Could use some tighter editing. But you have an interesting story in the making.

Was this a stock HVX? It looks wider. Also, did you use a polarizer for any of those out door shots? I love the color.

enjoyed the video..im a bike rider myself and do the famous HHH each year, 100 miles ride in Aug.. enjoyed the doc.. Ws this shot with your hvx? you know they sell grips you could have gripped to yout bik handle to get low angle footage.. non the less i enjoyed the doc.. good work.
