hvx audio issue ...

im filming in sd, using just what came with the camera, no add on mic

i film, capture, drop the captured footage into vegas, and the audio is only on the right channel, theres no audio on the left channel ... can someone help me or is that just how it is ?

Hi:

Either turn on audio channel one to external mic or youur camera is broken.

Check your mic input settigns on the side panel. Both channels should default to the on camera mics and record both channels, but if you have inadvertently set one channel to an external input without connecting a mic, you will get nothing on that channel. Also check your level controls on the back to see if one is turned all the wya down.

The good news is you can fix this in post very easily.
