Well my brand new HVX202 has arrived...and first shots and results from the cam have been fantastic. Truly awesome cam...
...and thanks to Barry Green for the excellent "HVX" handbook...which does a great job of vastly shortening the learning curve...
I've struck one early mystery...and it is to do with Frame rate options being blocked in certain Scene File settings...
1.) In recording setup have chosen 720P/25PN
2.) I have gone into the Scene file menu (With Scene File 1 selected)...and in here have customised "Film Cam" as operating type. (I understand that Film Cam mode is the only one that allows VFR)
3.) Frame rate is set to default....and refuses to be moved...unless I actually change to Scene File 5 Cine V...
Can anyone explain why Scene File 1-4 does not allow customization to VFR? Are scene files 1-4 hard wired to video cam only options?
Thanks for any clarification and your patience!
