hvx and xl2

I was wondering what I would do to match the hvx to the xl2. I know some guys looking for an extra camera for some fight scenes they are doing for their film and I'd like to help out but I'm not sure if we could get their xl2 footage to match with my hvx footage. is this possible or should I try to find another xl2 to use?
