D DustBowl Active member Mar 29, 2007 #1 Anyone have tips on the best way to capture at 720/1080 via firewire to my PowerBook G4 867? It has FCP 5.0.4 and I have about 700MB RAM. I'm not getting the live image from the HVX while I have the log and capture window up.

chinnr Member Mar 29, 2007 #2 Make sure you have the Device Control set to Non-Controllable Device in the Capture Settings tab in the Log and Capture window, and that you have the correct Capture/Input codec selected too.
