hvx and letus problems

I recently got a letus 35 extreme for my hvx200, and when i go to focus to the ground glass i get it nice and clear then when i put my lens on and turn the switch on there is still a very prevalent amount of the GG grain showing. You can see it best when you pan or tilt but I see test footage from other people and see none of that. What can I do? Also the image is much farther to the right so i have to zoom in much farther and loose alot of scene from the right of the camera. Help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm .. I don't have this problem with my Letus ... when things start to spin, the
grain goes away. The image should not be to the right if the adapter is mounted
properly.. it should be dead center in the field of view and zooming into between
75 to 78 should get you onto the imaging surface completely. I wonder if zooming in
much closer is causing you to pick up more grain?

You might want to check your mounts to see why it's off-center.

I'd contact Letus and see what they have to say about it....

Does anybody have there adapter slightly off center? I noticed that mine that it is slightly to the left and I have to zoom in just a tiny bit further.

How far do you have to zoom in on your hvx in order to get full frame from the letus? I have to zoom in 19 on the hvx lens, is that normal?
