HVX and International Compatibility

So we may have a gig with a foreign car manufacturer and they want the footage for distribution (through DVD) to be compatible with both PAL and NTSC systems.

what's the best format to shoot in with the HPX? my guess would be 1080i/30p.....or would it be 1080i/60i?

What format would you guys use? and what do I want to use to transfer the footage into PAL for the other countries? The plan is to send DVD's out to all the potential customers of this car.
 
Shoot 24p and master as a 24p dvd. I haven't had any trouble distributing 24p dvds worldwide. PAL dvd players support ntsc 24p dvds.
 
+1 to Barry. Something I often had to do when I was working in NTSC land and delivering locally and to PAL land.
