HVX and external monitor AVID XPRESS

I asked this in the AVID forum also and it was suggested to ask HVXers direct.

Is there a way to use the HVX to feed an external monitor while using avid xpress pro hd?

If you mean: can you use the firewire input on the HVX and output the image to a high-def monitor, the answer is no. You can do that in standard-def, but not high-def.

I hope Avid makes some type of "Mojo 2" announcement at NAB that will give us HD real-time output.
