HVX and After Effects

Hello,
Can anyone please shed light on how to manipulate MXF files into AE?
I'm using avid xpress pro.
Would you export a quicktime reference file?
AND does anyone know if the export out of AE is better than with DVX fotage... I could never get it to work quite right, sometimes my dvx footage was an extra frame or two...
I'd appreciate any info... thanx!

The QT ref works in Avid Adrenaline. Make sure you check the Avid DV codec box during export.
Exporting out of AE use the latest Avid DNxHD codec, choose the appropriate resolution for your format. (See pg 6 of link)
