Just thinking about all the various support gear I'll probably buy along with the HVX200, including a mattebox and filters, and realized there's one accessory that would be great to have that hasn't, to my knowledge, been made for cameras of a prosumer/handycam design: an LCD leveler.
Just like movie cameras and "cine-style" HD cameras can be fitted with eyepiece levelers to keep the viewfinder at a constant height during tilts, it would be tremendously helpful to have a similar leveler that keeps the LCD at a given angle during tilts, so you can view your image at a constant brightness without having to manually rotate it as you tilt, which is often difficult to do if you're also pulling focus and/or zooming.
Can't be that hard or expensive to make, I would think, but I'm worthless with designing or making mechanical things.
