HVX Accessorizing for the road

So i'm pretty much sold on this camera and I sort of have to make the purchase and make sure I have all the accessories i need asap as i'm leaving the country to shoot with it in 3 weeks! I wanted to ask you, the pros, on here what accessories I shouldn't go with out - from maintaining the camera to dumping the video on to hard drives...because inevitably, when you have to rush into a purchase like this, something gets over looked.

SPECS FOR THE PROJECT: i'll be shooting documentary, almost entirely in natural light and i'll be using the me66 shotgun and sennheiser wireless set up...i'll probably be shooting to tape, because the first half of this project was shot with a pd150....so 60i has been reccommended.

Thanks,
John

I'm buying the following (you are welcomed to disagree :)):
*Hama 30w video lamp (for those dark corners)
*rain coat
*windshield for microphone
*2 x manfrotto super clamps & manfrotto flex arm (for holding the camera to get some great angles)

well that's it for now... Of course I also buy lighting stuff, but I guess when shooting documentaries, you need most of the stuff light and easily accessible.

good luck!

I'd recommend taking a laptop and capture to that. In that way you could shoot in various modes if you choose i.e dvc 25 dvc 50.

And get a Fig rig.
For the kind of work your talking about it would rock.

Kind regards

A Fig Rig with the bells and whistles.? shooting 3 weeks straight? haha.. yeah right, he wouldn't last an hour before his arms give out.
