I used my camera for a shoot yesterday and it worked fine all day long but today when I went to transfer the footage to my pc the camera wouldn't recognize the P2 card. I removed the card and made sure it was in the camera properly and went to turn the camera off then back on but it wouldn't turn off. The only way I could turn it off is by removing the battery, and when I try turning the camera on again I often get a "1394 initial error" which is strange since I've never once used the firewire. It seems like somehow my camera just got scrambled, anyone have any problems like this?
I'm guessing I'll have to send it to panny for repair at this point, but am worried as to what it will cost, not to mention that I'm supposed to be leaving in 3 days for a 2 week long shoot with the camera. I bought it from Spec-comm a little over a year ago from Canada so I'd imagine I would have to send it back to them? Thanks.
