HVX 200A - trouble?

Just received a HVX 200A. Been working my way through it, having trouble. When powering the camera on in tape mode, all works great. When I power it on in P2 mode, not only can I not access the menu, but when I go to turn it off with the power switch, it stays on. In P2 mode I am unable to switch to the PC mode, access the menu, or turn it off. Is there some setting that would prevent me from doing this? Anyone have any ideas?

No, that doesn't sound right at all. If you just received it, I'd try exchanging it at your dealer with a different unit.
 
Well, sent it to Panasonic DV Broadcast, and they fixed it. Diagnosis was Part # VEP03G89F, "PC BOARD W/COMP"

Seems to work fine now!
