HVX-200 Viewfinder issues

I am shooting with the new HVX-200 and the DP wants to be able to see through the viewfinder and the LCD screen simultaneuosly so that I can pull focus off the LCD. Other than turning the LCD 180 degrees to the front of the lens, I can't get this function to work. Is there a special menu setup or is it just a switch?

This menu option will keep both the EVF and LCD on simultaneously:
Display Setup > EVF Mode = ON (Auto will shut the EVF off when LCD is open.)
