Rent my HVX 200 for your productions and feature films.

$750 a week or $1k for 30 days. Includes the cam, 16 gig P2 card, 6 batteries, 3 chargers, UV filter, polarizer and Kata 207 backpack.

I also have 2 lectrosonics wireless kits with tram tr-50 lavs & Sennheiser headphones for an additional fee.

Insurance & deposit required, renter pays insured UPS shipping both ways. Ground shipping prefered.

Hey Chip,

I' am looking to rent a camera package, and you offer a good rate. I' am shooting a short film in August (hopefully it is still available). My question to you is how much do I have to put down for a deposit and what kind of insurance is involved?

Also, why is it $750 to rent it for a week but only $250 more for 3 more weeks? I probably will need it for a couple of weeks.

If you want to send me a small deposit ($100) to lock your dates in I can make sure it is reserved for you in August and locked in, it's on a first come basis, the $100 will be applied to the rental balance. You'd need to have insurance on the cam for your shoot to cover damage and theft and my name listed on the insurance certificate (I do call the insurance co. to verify), same procedures as all rental companies have. Insurance is pretty cheap and you can buy it over the phone in 30 minutes.

I really do not want to be in the rental business and have to deal with short term or daily rentals, I have several hvx's and one sits on the shelf for 9 months a year so I thought I'd make a post seeing if any indies wanted a good deal on the camera for a 30 day feature shoot. The 7 days for $750 would be more for a guy that needs to shoot some tv commercial's or a corporate video.

As far as the deposit goes we can discuss that on the phone, if your taking my cam to Africa for a 60 day shoot it will be more than what I'd want for a small feature or short.

I understand indies are on a tight budget so I'll try to work with you anyway I can.
