HVX-200: can you save rec modes & frame rates on scene file?

I just got a hvx-200 and I have been trying to save the frame rates and rec modes on the scene files, but it seems like you can only change the scene file settings. I even saved the scene file, not on a SD card yet. I assumed you can save the frame rates and everything. I was wrong, haha! If there is a way, Could any one help?

I am trying to film everything in 24p and have each scene file with a different frame rate, rec format, and rec function. I am kind of shooting a run and gun style project, I can set it up every time but this would save me a lot of time and confusion.

The frame rate is stored in the scene file, so when you save the scene file it saves the frame rates too. Anything that you set in the SCENE FILE menu, gets saved on the card in the scene file file.

You cannot save the rec format or rec function in the scene file. Those settings get saved in the USER file.
 
Thanks, that makes sense. I am trying to set the user buttons and I am unable to find out how to change them. I looked in the manual and no luck, I seen it previously. Can you help me out?
 
The user file isn't related to the user buttons. It's found in the card functions menu. It saves all the settings that aren't in the scene file menu.
