I seem to recall that certain model numbers are ok with the 16g P2 fix? Is that right?
 
Every model is okay with it if you just update the firmware. Any unit that's manufactured with an E7xxxxxx serial number already has the latest firmware; any unit prior to that just needs to run the firmware update procedure.
