Has anyone ever tried converting HDV PAL to NTSC. for instance if I was to shoot and edit in HDV 1080 50i edit in premier under a the HDV 50i pal setting and author out to NTSC would the footage look smooth and clean. This seems like a cleaner way of getting a filmic frame rate without the headache of removing the pull down using an NTSC 24p camera. Thanks. A buddy of mine who is moving here from england wants to sell his [FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]hvr-v1e [/FONT]camera for cheap its essentially the HVR-V1u. its essentially new and he wants to sell it to me for less than a grand. I want to buy it, but not if it looks choppy or has bleeding frames or audio sync issues so I just wanted to put that out there and see what anyone suggests
