Many many moons ago, on another forum, I made a post.
It was just recently brought to my attention again and it made me laugh.
It has nothing to do with a gh1 but because I'm currently reading here , I thought I'd post it. So here goes
----------------------------------------------
A short letter to Mr David Lynch
Dear Mr Lynch
I sure am a fan of the Twin Peaks series. (yes, I like pie too) but yesterday I recieved my copy of "Eraserhead" from Netflix. My wife told me to cut the lawn this Saturday as she went off to work. I elected (after she left for work) to pay the kid across the street $30 to do it for me so I could drink my morning coffee, relax and watch Eraserhead. I know this is one of your older works (1977) but I must say your film is the biggest chunk of **** I have ever watched. I don't know how much money it made, but if you spent more than $12 making it, you spent too much. I watch more than my share of films and I really enjoy the more eclectic/arty films, but the way I figure it, you owe me $30 for the lawn boy and approx $1.20 for your share of my monthly Netflix bill. Yes this is now officially the worst film I have EVER seen. (and I even watched one of those scary? Leprechaun movies.) It was sooo bad, I promise I will never watch anything you write/produce/direct/recommend/ ever again.
Please feel free to email me and I will give you an address to send a check ($31.20) to.
Thanks
Chris
(no...I take back the Thanks. Just send me my money asshole)

Needless to say, I never heard from him.
