Huge White Balance issue

Hi guys, for the past few times I have tried filming with my DVX i get this horrible white balance problem. I have uncluded a clip from an interview I did last week, you can scrub the movie and see how bad the white balance shifts. I properly white balance with a white piece of paper, I use either channel A or B, hold down the AWB button until it turns back. It's getting frustrating, is there something wrong with my camera?

When you press the white balance button does ATW come up on the screen? If so, it means you have the camera in full auto mode, and that your whitebalance is constantly correcting itself. Press the "Auto" button on the side of the camera, then you can white balance correctly.

My friend, i think i have an answer for you...

I had the same porblem a couple of years ago, it seems the some types of flourecent light change colors while they are lit, going from 4600-5600 kelvin, that's why it looks as if the WB is chaning all the time , your eyes fixes this problem automaticly and thats why you cant see it.

you should avoid rooms which have these light or light them yourself. hope it help.

The building i have been shooting in is very old and has very old lighting. Maybe that is it. Is there anyway to correct it? Maybe actually put it on Auto WB so it corrects itself?

AWB want work because the camera cant respond fast enough. you can try working with other avialbe light (a window for instance) and you can try light it yourself ofcourse.

if you cant afford renting light EQ, just bring some stuff from home like table lamps, garden quartz lamps and other . using a 150W lamp inside a table lamp (reading lamp even better because it can be adjustded) will do a very good job when lighting a closeup.

Aren't you setting only the Black balance, right ? Normal white balance doesn't go black... your interview looks like using AWB, but I read it is OFF, so what was the light sources at location ?
