Huge studio sale

In August, United Way Worldwide (formerly United Way of America) will begin construction on the Mary Gates Learning Center. This renovation project will allow us update our meeting and training spaces, including the addition of a new auditorium and distance learning capabilities.


To make room for additional classrooms, United Way Creative Studio (formerly United Way Productions) is moving into a smaller, more suitable space in the headquarters building.



This weekend, on Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th, we are selling off excess production equipment. We are still pricing many of the items and as such do not have a price list. However, you can see pictures of everything that is for sale at http://studio.unitedway.org/sale.

If you see something you want in advance of the sale, we encourage you to make an offer. Otherwise, we hope to see you on Friday or Saturday, when all prices will be marked. We only accept checks – no cash.

On the linked page, you say that all equipment is sold "as is." Given that you are not warranting that the equipment is in working order, will there be a way to test it at the sale, particularly electronic equipment such as decks, mixers, monitors, lights, cables and the like?
