Been awhile since I have submitted anything to look at; the sunset was stunning yesterday as I drank Pacifico's and chilled at Carlsbad State Beach.

This is not a project but merely me sharing some nice eye candy.

Yes. It was a killer day. The color spectrum at this time of day is beautiful.

I need to come back to SoCal more often!
The light in the area is just awesome. I've been
to Rancho Bernardo on a business trip recently
and I forgot to bring my camera, I keep hitting
myself for that once a day since.

Carlsbad State Beach is about 7 miles from where I live; I can't NOT be near the ocean or I'll melt.

ND Grad I did! Really helps the exposure issue with skies, huh?

I trip on the BEACHSUN grab as the Sun was literally being 'sucked' into the horizon.

john, nice grabs!  now all you have to do is buy some post card paper and photoshop dem grabs.  then grab a table, chair, grill, and some burgers and open up shop over at the beach w/ a sign saying, "hudson's grill and stills."   :D

Great stills! I was actually just out in Los Angeles last week, and went down to Carlsbad for an afternoon. The beach and palm trees are a much better change of scenery compared to Iowa!
