HQ CY ( Contax Yashica) Adapter wanted

Anyone know of any high quality CY ( Contax Yashica) Adapters available for the AF100?

Just added a Zeiss Sonnar f2.8 MMG 85mm to my collection.

I don't know if it's luck of the draw, but the Kipon I have is machined properly and slop free.

On the other hand, the Kipon EF adapter I have has a little play.

Novoflex. Got mine used for about $200 USD and have been very happy with it, no wiggle in either of the connections.

Thank you.

Note: Their site does not show their products in any way that I can determine the engineering, materials and build quality.

eg. a decent close up. ( Mystery to me why anyone would not display their own products decently !)

Anyone got a picture of any Novoflex Adapters that might inform me better. or even a description would help me.

That would be appreciated.

Nice buy Scott.

Something about the Leicas I really like and they do have a distinct & different character to the Nikkors.

Those mounts look of a reasonable build and engineering quality. Whats your thoughts about that if you have one?

I ordered both the $29.95 Fotodiox CY-MFT adaptor from Amazon and the similar Novoflex for $212 from B&H and will compare the two when they arrive.

I did the same order when I bought a Canon FD 85mm f1.8 and I ended up keeping the Fotodiox. I saw no difference in performance between the two.

What's crazy about the Zeiss 50mm is that I found it on Craigslist for $150 and that included a Contax camera body. Some guy was selling his grandmother's estate and didn't know what he had.

Whats crazy is you wont be able to stop looking for the Zeiss lenses now... and some of the prices will floor you.
You do need to be careful about which ones are the.... ONES!
