HPX500 Viewfinder Clarity??

I have heard that the viewfinder on the HPX500 does not really show if you are truly focused or not.
That the only way to really check your focus is on a seperate HD LCD monitor.
Has anyone experienced clarity issues in the viewfinder??
 
this is not a clarity issue - its more about the need to have high resolution to focus by sight in HD. THe viewfinder doesnt have that - however it does have 2 focus assist systems which help - peaking and the histogram. But if you want to do it by sight you need a good monitor.
 
Be careful with the peaking function, turn it up too high and you will see an enhanced image which looks more focused than it might be in reality, but thats how my brain works. Maybe diff for you.
