HPX500 rebate extension?

Hey everyone,

I'm considering the purchase of an HPX500 as an upgrade from my old Sony DSR-300. I'm tempted to make my purchase soon, as I know the $2000 rebate for the camera is not available after the end of this month. Is there any chance this rebate might be extended? Does Panasonic ever do that? Perhaps Jan could chime in...

I'd be interested in the answer to this, too. I have a few projects for which the HPX500 would be great, but they're going to be later in the summer, and until then, I'll continue shooting with the HVX200.
 
Same here...

Can afford to pay cash for the camera... just the other goodies... lens, p2 cards, tripod, and other goodies...

Have a deal in the works but if it happens my luck the money will come in after the rebate...
 
Same here. Got two drs 300's and want an HPX 500. but won't have the dough for at least a month.

And if the price goes back up to 10k. I'll have to go with the EX1 or 3.

EX3 at 8k very tempting :)
Any body know if the letus B4 would work with an adaptor on the EX3?
 
Quick question about the rebate, should I send the UPC code with the serial or just the serial label and not the UPC code?
 
Funny that we're all thinking the same thing. The EX3 does look tempting too, although more of my clients deal with P2 cards these days. It'll be interesting to see how much (little) I get for my old DSR-300.

Jan, can you offer some guidance? Will the rebate offer end precisely on June 30th?
