I can't seem to find my specific questions nor answers so I am posting a new thread:
Question #1: I own an HPX370. Are the rear "channel 1" and "channel 2" XLR inputs supposed to record as follows? Left input records to channel 1 and 3 only, right input records to channel 2 and 4 only. I cannot get the rear inputs to record to channels 1 and 2 no matter how I set my switches.
I know you can only manually control the recording levels on channels 1 and 2 (3 and 4 are controlled through the menu as either auto gain "on" or "off").
Question #2: Can I use the front XLR input for a "Line In" instead of a mic? If not, proceed to question #3...
Question #3: If I use a "Line In" on the rear XLR inputs, why will it not allow me to record to channels 1 and 2? It only lets me record to 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. I don;t like this because I cannot control the recording volume manually on channels 3 and 4.
I hope I haven't confused everyone.
