HPX3000, can't access thumbnails

I have been filming on my HPX3000 with P2 cards with no issue for a while now. I put the P2 in the camera today to erase existing footage and I am unable to access the thumbnails. I can record on them no problem and even do play back.
Any ideas?
I could always access the thumbnail before. this is a new issue.
I need to clear out these cards ASAP

Well I change the settings as follows...
Video Out - SDSDI
Video Out Character - On
TCG - R Run
Output SEl - Mem

Some how this combination allowed me to view the thumbnails though I don't understand why.
