HPX300 Redrock M2e DOF Test

When you were shifting focus from one object to another, the picture shifted all over the place. What lens were you using?

I was using a Zeiss 85mm during this shoot. As stated, I just put this set up together and still working things out.

I am using the reverse scan option with the m2e upgrade. I have not bought the achromat that comes with the m2e as I am using the older 72mm achromat. I wonder if that is making a difference? Maybe I still need to make some more adjustments with the back focus.

Yes, indeed! You should use the new 72mm 5x Achromat (Encore) for the sharpest resolution.
