HPX300 P2 Copy to PC Slow

Hello all. We are using the HPX300 very successfully for our film but there is one problem I am struggling with. I am not certain that this is anything specific to the HPX300 but here goes.... When the P2 card is inserted into the slot on the PC and we copy all of the content from the P2 card, the speed of the copy is PAINFULLY slow. Should the content be copied with a Pana utility that I dont see or have, as we are offloading these cards by simple copy operations within Windows. The speed is really, really slow and it does not appear to be unique to one machine. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and ideas on this.

The card copying should be happening at the rate of about 2gb per minute, so a 32gb card should take about 16 minutes to offload. If your numbers are significantly varying from that, let us know your exact hardware configuration and see if some members here can help you diagnose what to do differently.

Thanks. The transfer rate was almost 20 times slower. However I did find the resolution. Since many others seem to use the Dell M6400 I thought I would expand my reply. The BIOS update from A04 or any level up to A09 is important in solving this problem combined with downloading the latest Ricoh driver from the Dell website that is for the card slot. The combination of these two things brought the performance in line to 2gb per minute regardless if the Windows based copy is used or the P2 Viewer. All good. Thanks!

Do you use P2 viewer P2 Ingester function ? It is under Tool and it is fastest and very usefull with two slots because you can create two window copy at the same time just click on Windows and start new window. The best part is you dont have to make folder it creates for you.
Just wondering no one ever mention this and it is very fast. I would highly recomend it. Remember it is only available with new P2 viewer version.
