HPX300 Green screen footage

I don't understand your question. The "CONTENTS" folder does not dependent on whether you shoot a green screen or any other subject.

I am just looking for raw camera footage to download and view on my screen. Does not have to be green screen. I shoot all green screen work which is why I asked. The link I supplied was for you to look at too and tell me if you think it is bad. I don't trust the shop I got the camera from because they can tell me anything.

On here I believe we are in it together and you won't BS me because you want me to keep the camera. The camera shop is already pissed at me and all I want is a working camera for crying out loud.

Take a look at this one. View at 100%

Just an idea, could this just be an import or editor problem. I have never see HPX footage that dirty even when im running at +9db..wierd? I dont use premier so im afraid i cannot help with this program sorry.

I record to the card and have tried After Effects CS5, Premiere Pro CS5, Final Cut to ProRes and P2 Viewer, all show me the same thing.

I will try to send you some footage via yousendit over the weekend, quite busy now. I shoot a LOT of green screen with the 300. It would be best if you posted a video clip of the problem on Vimeo, I don't see the black spots, if it's noise then it will show best in motion. I am a DP and I don't edit. I can't download your contents folder until the weekend.

First, I would check to see if the problem is noticeable playing back from the camera on a good large HD monitor. What you are objecting to may have been created in the post process or perhaps is only on the computer screen you are using for editing. I have large Apple Cinema Displays, if you do not have them take the footage to a buddy or editor who has them and see if you see the spots there.

Are you shooting in 1080? Are you shooting through a teleprompter? That's always a degrader. Best to be in -3db. Shutter off? Now that you have the firmware update go to factory default and start over. Let me see a sample of the green screen shot rather than you holding your arms in front of a bounce card, let's see what the problem is. It is possible you got a bad chip but very doubtful with today's quality control. DO NOT get your camera shop pissed at you because there's a 90% chance it's user error and you don't want to embarrass yourself. Plus you will need them someday for repairs.

Thanks for the tips. I have a Panasonic engineer that flew down and is meeting me tomorrow morning to get to the bottom of it. I will update tomorrow.
