Good morning,

I am looking for advice on devices to properly set the withe and black balance to obtain the most accurate
color tonality and image focus, if someone can please post settings for the camera or other process.

Thanks.

White and black balance don't have anything to do with focus.

For a pure white balance, use a white card or a white sheet of paper. You just point the camera at the white, fill as much of the image as possible, and set it.

Or, you can use the presets -- if you're outdoors, use 5.6K. If you're indoors, under conventional lights, use 3.2K. But these may not be perfect, so you may have to adjust it yourself.

For black balance, you generally don't need anything because the camera just shuts the iris and makes a perfect black. If it didn't, you can just put the lens cap on. Black balance isn't something you need to do all the time.

There are a number of other settings, like color temperature, matrix, etc., but we'd need to know exactly what you're trying to do before we can tell you how to use them.

Hello David,

I appreciate your time and advice, I am shooting on a cloudy and sunny environment at the same time , as far is image focus I had tried setting the lens using the "Siemens Star Chart" but I can not get a crisp image, also I had updated the camera's firmware and it seems to help with the video noise that I get in some situations.

Thanks.
