Hi!
I know.. it's a stupid question but I always used small camera like hvx100/200/201 and sony hdv and so for me auto focus is an help during some situations!

Well, can i use hpx300/301 with the autofocus or in automode like hvx200?

Another question... are you happy about your buy? i am very confused in order to choose the best camera and i'm studying hpx301 and EX1 (but this last one have a awfull codec!)

thank u very much!

No, there is no auto-focus on the HPX300 / Fuji lenses. Like cine lenses, ENG / broadcast lenses all feature manual focus.

Auto Iris, yes.

ok, thanks.. well, for a novice that have always use handy camera is too difficult to work with it?
thank u

No, i dont think so. Maybe you need a little bit of excercise. But its the better way to work because autofocus sometimes do the wrong thing. And often in that special moment you was waiting for...
But if you used to work with the "handy"- Cameras, why not the EX1 or the new EX1R? They make beautyfull pictures too, have bigger Chips and the files need less space. And Autofocus... :-)
