HPX250 and AC160 cameras shipped as of 09/16

I did a search and couldn't find anything about this, so my apologies if it's been posted already. I stumbled across this info on the Panasonic pro video blog.

Apparently the first shipment of HPX250 and AC160 cameras went out on September 16th, so hopefully we'll get some reviews and footage in soon.

Awesome news. If these are on spot with pany's usual standards, I want a company I do a lot of work for to sell our (3) hmc150's and HVX200 and go this route. Do we have a street price yet anywhere?

hpx250 is $5900 on B&Hs website now

On B&H:

ac130 = $3799.95

ac160 = $4699.95

hpx250 = $5899.95

I'm wondering if those are just the announced prices, or if they'll drop a bit once the cam is actually available for purchase...

Has been posted in separate thread, but thanks for the note.

There are two active links: one in the HMC150 forum and the other in the HPX300 forum.

I also believe there is one in the dvxuser news section as well. The 9/16 ship date is noted in a video at IBC in one of those threads, and I believe elsewhere as well, but I was not able to locate the link.

But my understanding is that no 250 is available in US as yet, and the 160 won't be available until October.
