The studio where I work uses a HVX200 as our primary field camera. We have a few 2/3" HPX2000 as well that we'd like to use in field in the future, but there's a small snag on audio of splitting a mono XLR to 2 channels.
I know on the HVX200 it's a simple switch on the side of the camera, but for the life of me I cannot find any way to duplicate this on the HPX2000.
The only solution we've found, but not yet tried, is to use a mixer to send out 2 channels to the camera (which means more cables) or feed a stereo line to the front of the camera.
Any help?
Thanks.
btw, 3 people have read the manual and we cannot find any instructions.
