While it will probably have the 3 CMOS setup from the HPX300, what I would like to see is the single 8Mp 4/3rds sensor from the GH-1. Even if they made a more video version of the standard 28-280 equivalent lens standard. With that sensor it could do a 'digital' doubling to the 2k center of the sensor to get an effective 20x zoom. With onboard AVC Intra, a full set of frame rates (the GH-1 handles 720p60, so it should handle everything)...
If they ever decide to put CMOS in all their future cams, I sure hope Panasonic will solve the rolling shutter problems once and for all. Workarounds are possible with CMOS, but flashes and skews are a PITA to correct and a waste of precious time.
AVC Intra 100 would be real nice, with a much better viewfinder like the HPX300. I agree that cramming all the features of the HPX300 (except the CMOS) in a smaller form camcorder would make one hell of a cam
I'm afraid all the consumer camcorders, many of the new prosumer and professional camcorders, and nearly all of the still cameras are CMOS. Rolling shutter artifacts are nearly unavoidable.
