My HPX172EN right now only work on it's 1394 interface. I can't get it to read through the USB interface after plugging it via usb onto both windows and mac machines. Is my USB interface faulty? I'm under the impression that the camera should be able to connect to any machine via the USB to offload content.
Or maybe I'm doing it right. I've plugged in via the USB interface with a USB cable to both machines, pushed the mode button until the light went down to PC, but the camera only says 1394 interface.
