I recently purchased a AG-MC200 microphone for my HPX170. I have only used it on one project with not so good results. I set the mic to AGC because I was moving around shooting b-roll and didn't have time to adjust the audio for every environment. I plugged into Channel one with phantom power with the attenuation set to -50. When I brought the footage back to edit I noticed that there was a lot of limiting. My question is...what are the proper settings to have this microphone set at to achieve good sounding audio.
