HPX170 Tilted Horizon Issue

I just bought an HPX170 and today I shot for the first time. However, I noticed that, whenever I leveled the tripod fluid head, the lines in the image in the display of my camera were slightly tilted. My tripod is reliable (Sachtler FSB4 System) and I also tried to use a separate level on top of the camera. Still the problem. I also noticed that, when you look straight at the front of the camera, the hood seems a little tilted as well (which is not a real problem, the image is the problem). So, I am leveling the tripod head manually using the lines in the image as a reference. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks.

Rchaber,
My HVX200 + Sachtler DV6SB is off about 1 degree. I usually compensate in post only if it is really apparent, like an ocean horizon landscape shot. The problem with leveling your tripod manually is that you are going to rotate the head when you pan...

Hey Jason, thanks for the quick reply. Mine should be 2 or 3 degrees off, which is quite much. You're right about manually leveling the tripod.

Have you come up with any fix for the tilt situation...? I have a HMC150 where I'm noticing the same problem. I went and bought a level to check it out and it verifies that the tripod is indeed level - as is the camera when I place the level on the cam - but the image in the viewfinder is not... it tilts to one side. I currently have been adjusting the tripod but shouldn't have to take this extra step. Sometimes, things happen fast and I don'thave time to re-adjust.
