HPX170 Pal firmware

[dtzfilms]

Is that PAL firmware thing still $500 or does anyone know whether it's free now that the HPX170 has been discontinued?

I'm moving to England for five years and don't really see myself chasing any new camera. My AF100 is beautiful but I
need money and might sell it if I can get the HPX170 PAL firmware free or cheap.

Any thoughts?

It would be nice if it were free. I'm afraid the $500 option still stands.
