HPX170 has Green Tint in lower left corner

All of a sudden my HPX170 has a green hazy tint in the lower left corner. You can see it live when viewing and it is also on the footage. I have updated and reset everything on the camera and tested in different conditions....and still the green tint is still there. Could this be damage to a sensor?

I can't find anything about this in searches so if anyone has a clue, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Does it show up on the recorded footage? Or when live monitoring out to a monitor or TV?

Hi Barry,

The subtle green tint shows up in the lower left corner on the LCD, external monitor and on the footage. I tired different lighting conditions and formats.

By the way, love the HVX Bootcamp DVDs - very helpful!!!

Its quite possible that its caused by damage to the green CCD. I would bring it to a repair center and have them take a look at it. If you live in New York, I can recommend some good places.
