HPX170 & Hard Freeze in GA.

During the first 2 weeks of January we received some of the coldest weather of the winter here in Georgia. Temperatures in the low teens and a couple of inches of snow in the mountains. Just the conditions I had been waiting for to visit my favorite waterfall and to try out if the camera zoom would stick. Well, it never stuck but I could feel it stiffen up some. Filmed with HPX170, 1080i, and edited with Edius 5. Enjoy http://vimeo.com/8680281

2:10 is amazing. The xtreme closeup of the water within the ice dripping down...
outerworldly... nice work.... interlace really?

Thanks very much. It was shot interlaced as it is intended for DVD. The Vimeo version however was deinterlaced thru windows media encoder for web viewing.

Hi Mark,

Very Nice clip indeed, beautifully framed, edited and shot, great angle from below the falls, (that I would have put as first shot but that's me).
Nice work from the little HPX170.

Cheers
