HPX170 Footage Screened At Theater

Hi. It's been awhile since I've posted. I wanted to let everybody know that HPX170 footage exported to BluRay and projected digitally at our local theater looks fabulous! I could not believe my eyes that the image came from a 1/3" chip. I am a devout Panasonic owner and can't wait to see what my HPX250 can do with AVC Intra on BluRay. I said all this to say just make your movie and politely introduce yourself to your local theater owner and work out a deal for screening your movie. It's awesome as hell.

Hugh Im doing just that! I have a film was into post production called B5141872 and much of the footage was captured with the HPX170. The plan however is not to BR it for projection, but to export a uncompressed quicktime on a hard drive. To bad your in Idaho, would get you into the screening!

It's been five years since I posted this. How did it go?

Looking at footage from an indie feature I shot years ago on the HPX170 - it's not 4k but flesh tones with hot lights, straight out of the camera on Cine D looks GREAT.
