HPX170 focus

LCD on hpx170 appears too course and grainy, perhaps too sharp if that's possible. Ha. Looks like edges are too sharp. Is there a menu setting to pull this back a bit.
LCD on my DVX 100A seemed much better looking.

Try pressing your "EVF DTL" button on the left side of the camera and see if that improves anything.

That did it. Thanks. I thought I read somewhere that for more accurate focus the EVS/DTL switch should be turned on. Really looks better with it off...at least on the LCD screen. Need to do some real testing. The HPX 170 is new for me. Thanks again.

The VF isn't about a pretty picture. The DTL feature is there to help you focus.

Yea, you should leave the EVF DTL on... Without it, focusing isn't so possible with that little LCD.
