HPX will not read my scene files HELP!

Hello, I am new here ,though I do own an HPX170 I am having a couple of issues I do not know how to resolve. I really appreciate the help guys, I can see this is the best place to go. Ok on with my issues,( #1) I lost my original HPX170 scene files, ( the ones that came in the camera) I over wrote them when I first got the camera and was messing with it, was wondering if someone could post them here, or send them to me. ISSUE( #2 ) My SD/HC card will not read the files I edited some scene files and it will not read them at all, I also downloaded the ones form panasonics site, and when I go to option 8 on camera menu / read file it says "no file" then an error any suggestions? thank you
 
wow, sounds lame.

i know about goin on pannys site for scene files but the rest i have no idea.

hope my hpx isnt like this! haha

not at all man it's an awsome camcorder to have, I love it, and you will as well. I think I just edited the files wrong, thanks anyway hopefully someone will have an answer :)
 
To get the factory-original scene files back, go to each scene file and look for the "init" option; that'll restore the scene file to the factory defaults.

I don't know why you can't just load the files from the panasonic site, unless either a) your camera isn't actually an HPX170, but is maybe a japanese-model HPX175 or something, or b) you haven't put the files in the right directory. You have to follow the instructions to the letter to make sure that you put the files where they should go.
 
Thank you, Barry I think I just have them in the wrong directory, I will try this. Can't wait to get your dvd in the mail next week!
