So I sent mine in like beginning of January and it still hasn't been processed yet and I'm getting a bit concerned. I was just wondering how long it took people to get their checks?
The rebates tend to take some time, a good measure of patience is needed.
If you would like to check the status, make sure they received your rebate forms and everything is in order, there is a number on the rebate form you can call. They can look up your information with the camera serial #.

Yeah i also bought one in early December and have not heard anything about the rebate either. Does anyone know the number to call or has anyone received there rebate yet?
The number to call is 866-339-4296. I called to see what they'd say. Had to sit on hold initially and then the person asked for my last name and zip. Wasn't interested in a serial number. She said I was not yet in the system and that it takes awhile. Wow. So, after 6 weeks, assuming they even have the paperwork, it's sitting in a pile or in a mail bin somewhere just waiting for data entry. She suggested I call next week.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Been about 8 weeks already and I haven't heard anything. I tried to contact them thru the PASS website, didn't know about this number. I guess I'll try that...
Considering the cam is now selling for $3995, I wish I had waited a few weeks and not had to play this BS game with Panasonic. It is a great cam, but playing the extended waiting game for a rebate is really crap. Is it really worth it ($$) to them to sit on the money for a couple months while it pisses off their customers? It is no way to make friends. I bought a Tascam product recently and received the rebate in 10 days. I purchased a new Maxell hard drive product and got my bonus merchandise in less than 10 days!
