HPX, how to disable AGC?

In looking in the manual, I'm not sure how to interpret what is says about AGC on page 104.

Is it saying that when the A.IRIS is set to off that this disables the AGC?

There is no AGC at all, unless you put the manual/auto switch to "auto". And if you do that, then it has the potential to do AGC, but only up to the limit that you establish in the AUTO SW menu. So you could set the AUTO SW menu's AGC option to 0dB and in that case AGC would be disabled in all possible modes.
