HPX 500 project for Germany playback

I am shooting a segment for a trade show next week and my client just informed me they want to make a Blu-ray DVD that will playback in Germany. I am shooting with the HPX500 with the letus relay and 35mm adapter. They want a film noir look so I thought I would shoot 1080p24.

Does anyone have experience shooting in NTSC a creating a Blu-ray DVD for PAL playback. Is there even such a thing as PAL Blu-Ray DVD?

Thanks,

If the PAL Blu-Ray is only secondary, then just shoot in 24P and speed it up to 25 fps in post. Thousands of movies have been "converted" to PAL this way, and as long as there is no piano music in the soundtrack, nobody will ever notice!

I think these days movies are still converted to PAL by just speeding them up, only for major Hollywood projects the soundtrack will be adapted.

I asked a cameraman who was shooting on film a lot, how he did it, and he said "don't tell anybody, but usually I set the camera to 25 frames per second, because in most movie theaters the projectors aren't that good anyways, and so I get the perfect framerate for the DVD."
